    Cundy obviously has his limitations.
I have never really been impressed with Macari either though. I don?t think he will be League 1 material and his injury record is not the best.

I think Macari is a solid young defender. He's improved a lot since he joined on loan, and I think he'll continue to get better. He's perfect for that RCB role as he's pretty mobile too.

Macari gives us the overload out wide, whereas Zak is still learning.
    This something we have missed.
I thought we had signed too many defenders but when you look at the injuries we have had, we had to get a loan signing.

Obviously more mobile than Cundy. In an ideal world we need a RCB to be as good as Beadeau on the other side. And he quite clearly isn?t.
Zac is a big unit in a young body and he struggles with mobility also at the moment.
We still need Robbie to be available, just in case.

Out of Macari, McDonald, Cundy and Johnson I think we should give Macari first shot as the RCB for our run-in. His form at the start of the season was outstanding and the best we've seen so far, although it did drop off a fair bit.

RCB has been a problem for quite a few seasons now - maybe Brindley was the last to hold the position down.

We're searching among Macari, McDonald, Cundy, Johnson and Ness. Meanwhile, Bradford are ahead of us (2nd best defence in the league) with a regular RCB who would've been the answer for us. Obviously things soured and it wasn't possible, but a backline of Baldwin-Platt-Bedeau (imagining no baggage) would've done the business for us.

If Macari is fit then he should be first choice.. The rest are just bang average..

Obviously pretty unfancied, as soon as McDonald was injured, Johnson came in and not Cundy.

Having Macari back is a huge bonus. An excellent defender and a good option going forward.
