Effort was there. Apart from Pelly who I didn't know was playing all did their job. Take back what I said about JCH looked sharper tonight. Odoffin was outstanding very unlikely he'll be here next season. Helped us when Humphreys switched to centre back & Sibley got on in midfield.

Back to back wins home and AWAY, what next? Tony calling Stevie in to talk about extending his contract?

Look, some say it was a poor game and we won from a deflection but, you don't shoot you don't score so well done Sibbley. From the off The O's were in our face playing a very high tempo game and we simply had to match them and we did, which really surprised me as I thought our lot weren't that fit. First half all equal.

Second half they set off again at 90mph but again we matched them and low and behold we started to turn it on. Their Manager gaffed taking off Agyei, by far their best player. I was pleased at the effort JCH put in tonight, probably his best all season.

The team worked their socks off and there were several times we had them troubled with our different attitude to the game. Couple of points of contention. Wilks still ball greedy when he should have squared it to others in the box rather than do a lame shot from an impossible angle.

Evans substituting too late and for me Wilks should have gone off before JCH, I don't understand running players into the ground with a risk of further injury to them, Wilks was clearly knackered 10 minutes before he was subbed.

Overall, a great team effort, we beat a team higher than us and took the 3 points so let's rejoice in that fact.

Just a little stat on McWilliams. I?ve had to try to remember this looking through BBC line ups but I think it?s about right.

The last 6 league games that he has started we have won 5, drawn 1. In between some of those games when he hasn?t played I think we lost 6, drawn 1, won 1.

If anyone points to the Charlton game when he went off injured, we were 2-0 up at that point.

Not sure why anyone wouldn?t want him in the side.

Woeful first half performance, yet another display of 11 blokes in the same shirts without any plans.
Second half we decided to press and close them down as Evans sides mark 1, totally different game we gave them a headache.
    and deserved the win.
Even though i think he's a Sunday Pub player I thought McWilliams fared ok at right back, although it is the easiest position on the park,
specially when you aren't up against a decent winger which he wasn't. James on the other hand got a bit of a chasing from their right winger, why did they take him off?
Slighty disappointed with Mpanzu tonight, JCH put more into it and won some good challenges. Nombe again had a good game but
should have scored with the shot the keeper saved and i'm sure he got a touch for the goal.
Sibley had a good game and gave the team some energy.
Nice to see JJ back, again i hope he stays fit and well, I would much rather see him playing for us than either JCH or Hugill.
Hope Jules isn't crocked as we have no more defenders left.
The ref did well let a lot go which was good, only black mark was the pen we should have had when they took JJs leg from under him.
Went home happy for a change,
    UTM

I'm sure Cayton will agree as he's been banging that drum for months now. Apart from Holmes he's the lowest paid of all our summer acquisitions and (if the figures published on here in a recent thread are to be believed) only earns 10% of what our bench warming GK is getting.

Oh for heaven’s sake, these sites showing wages are just not accurate! Wise up.

Lots of empty seats tonight again. People don’t like what is being served up.

Best performance from JCH for some time - long overdue. Great input from the majority of the rest.

As others have said, had this level of energy been applied consistently we'd be in the top 6 at this stage.

Hope Jules' injury is just a knock.

It's a crying shame the way this season has turned out. On our day we're as good as any teams I've seen here except one.
Four pretty average teams will make the playoffs. Could have been us.
