I can understand the younger generation wanting to attend tribute concerts as they didn't get the chance to see the original . Id like to hear what other Madsters think about this
Hi Lincs, thing is for the young ones, most of the great bands from the 60's/70's have lost their band members through passing on so, no one can see them anymore. I think any music kept alive be it original band members or tribute acts is still great to hear.

Point of order, is there a Beach Boys tribute act out there and more importnatly would you attend if they were reasonable to good? I would.

Playing here at a winery in July. $100/ticket, no seat, take your own chair and put it on the lawn. Reserved seating from $200-$300. At those prices I'd expect some of the originals will be present. Tribute bands are usually free around here or up to $30 for really good ones.

Brin, " Original Beach Boys" still touring but only 2 original members in the band . No I wouldn't go and see a BB tribute band. I do go and watch bands doing a mix of the originals . I think what puts me off is the need of the tribute bands to dress and try and look like the original members, live AI ?
