Actually I think we should do more of that at home games against teams who just sit very deep waiting for us to make mistakes while we slowly play the ball around in front of them
That's what all the recent visiting teams have done and we have to admit it's worked for them
It will make things a lot less boring and the home fans won't be groaning in frustration as the 15th pass keeping possession is back to our keeper

Been saying we should mix it up between the two styles for a long time.

By my count Sam has only started for us once this season outside the EFL trophy and so isn't counted as a senior goalkeeper.

I thought a club is allowed a senior backup keeper to sit on the bench or stand between the posts.

Looking at this further, I think I might have got this wrong. Do we have any young goalies on the books?

I'd be amazed if we're allowed to sign another keeper unless Slocombe gets injured as well. Our only option would be to sign a free agent. Is there anyone out there available.

Exactly, I was going to post the question why folks are thinking we can sign a keeper while we have Slocombe on the books and available.

Forgotten his name off the top of my head but we have the young Bermudan? international keeper on our books.

We do have Milai Perott, the 20 year old Bermudan 'keeper. Not sure he's ready for a promotion charge though. If Sam's going to stick around in the starting line-up, hopefully Perott is up to being on the bench...
