Honestly? I thought it was a case of two teams playing a similar style and cancelling each other out across the pitch.

I thought ou rsubs were a bit strange and didn't really change anything.

A clean sheet and a point away from home. Not ideal, but better than a defeat.

Nope, just not good enough, not by a long shot.

The amount of times we lost the ball from a poor touch, pass, control or decision making was ridiculous.

Hibs would have won that, so would Hearts.

This lot have blown third, cant see us getting it now, just dont have the quality required.

After the start we made, its a really, really poor show.

EDIT: Didnt realise Killie had equalised. Still dont think we will get third though.

No last minute winner then. It would not have been deserved in all honesty. These are the players that will be remembered for having such a great start to the season and then not even qualifying for Europe in the end.

The season start was great, but f*ck it masked over a lot of issues.

We still have issues and they were never going to be fixed in two windows.

My prediction at the start of the season was a top six finish and at least the semis of a cup.

Hopefully we can bring in a bit more quality in the attacking areas, especially the wide areas. None of our options have set the world on fire, but we do play better if we can get our wide play right.

Yeah today was a disappointing result because we really should be beating the side that is bottom of league with the budget we have.

I believe that if we beat Motherwell in a few weeks that will confirm our place in the top 6. I dont think we will finish 3rd either but if we finish 4th or 5th that is a decent first season for Thelin alongside the 2 cup runs.

Next season I would expect us to be winning games like today though. If we are still struggling to win against the smaller teams in the league next season then Thelin will be under a lot more pressure than he is this season.

Yeah Rico thats fair comment, though personally anything below 4th for me any season is failure & underachieving.

Weve also not had to play anyone in both cups until the semis, but you can only beat whats put in front of you tbf.

Agree Thelin will face much more scrutiny next season than he has this year - as he should.

No way Hibs and Hearts are gonna make the poor starts they did this year so hes gonna face stronger competition too.

I really dont know what he was thinking putting Shinnie back in the middle yesterday - Clarkson didnt deserve to be dropped, Shinnie had been doing a good job at LB, and he has all the creativity of a tree. That midfield combo with Palaversa (who wasnt great either tbf) just didnt work.

Thelins made a number of good signings, but theres also some questionable ones - out wide especially - so hes gonna need to hit the mark in the summer.

Shady Mo consolidated his position as an effective impact sub and not a starter.

Keskinen has the first touch of a baby giraffe with cramp, and does a great impression of a puppy chasing a crisp packet in the wind most of the time.

Okkels was just the usual - a waste of a shirt.

Width is important in Thelins setup. We need better out there.

Keskinen is a frustrating player to watch. He clearly has talent but regularly makes the wrong decisions. Hopefully he improves as he gets older and I presume that he has been bought with the plan to develop him and sell him for a profit.

Morris deserved his start yesterday after recent performances but unfortunately never took his chance. Its baffling how he can have such an impact coming off the bench but struggles when he starts a game.

This has been a strange season overall as the entire team has been inconsistent. I have no idea which player will get player of the year?

I would have said either McGrath or Devlin would have been a good shout at the start of the season the way they started but their form nose dived like the rest of the squad for various reasons.

Usually you get at least one player who plays well through the season like Miovski last season but I cant think of anyone this season.

I know he was only signed in January but if he keeps impressing as he has then Knoester would get my vote because as you say pretty much everyone else has been good in places and rubbish the rest of the time

It?s not looking good for Nilsen regarding his eye injury.
Rumour has it he has a bit of a fetish for peeking through letterboxes at strangers homes. Someone has obviously taken offence to this and gave our better captain a jab in the eye with a broom handle or such like.
Keep an eye on your ring door bells?Nilsen still has one eye working.
