A soulless and gutless performance with only Haks able to hold his head high. We have weakest of midfields - Sibley, McWilliams & Mwambe couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding let alone put an accurate pass in. Powell is the only one with any endeavour and strength. Hence, Nombe and Wilkes have to live off 50-50 balls with no chance of operating in space. I'm sure SE has a plan, I'm just not sure what it is.

A max of 4,500 there tonight. If this continues, season ticket sales will plummet to below 2,000 and we'll be up the creek next season. P45 time!

A game like Saturday we could have won in the first half. McWilliams missed 2 good chance and wilks. We have jch goal disallowed which I've not seen a replay but it looked like a handball and wilks hit the post.
Crowd were frustrating as once again we don't go direct and start dragging the Wycombe players all over the pitch and what do they do. Boooo the sideways/backwards passing. FFS we are retaining possession.
As I mentioned in the other thread. Rufc fans don't know what they want except for Evans to leave. These last 3 seasons are leaving a very sour taste in the millers history.

Evans saying Haks Cam aren't really centre backs if you give the opposition all that space out wide they are bound to get at least one quality cross in like they did for their 2nd goal. Been short of a wide right player all season who can take the pressure off & cover right back. Mpanzu should have been that player but can't see what his role is in the side. Agree taxi for Evans/Raynor empty seats are calling out for that.

I agree about retaining possession but when we do we generally go back to Phillips and then hoof it long.
You keep having a dig at the fans pal after every game.
In the long list of people to blame the fans aren?t in it.
SE has to go as a starting point. If not then there won?t be many fans there for you to have a go at mate.
Last night was woeful and the fans booing isn?t the issue.

Last time I had a go at the fans in the stadium was when I called some knuckle draggers. Which you didn't reply to my question. Probably 2 month back so if that's your interpretation of me having a dig after every game then ok.
The other comments your thinking of are probably related to mm members. Though I could be mistaken
And last night's boos happened when we were playing it through the midfield. As they started when pelle received it just inside our half. Could have turned but decided to play it back to oddofin.. it's a bad habit some fans have dropped into and the only way out would be clean slate.

I bet you once Evans has gone the first game fans comment. Same result but much better performance. Obv these players were not playing for Evans.
It's all an illusion driven by the frustration ...if warne was the manager and we were where we are the fans would blame TS or the players. Because it's Evans he's the first in line.
Btw not defending Evans cos he's a horrible bloke so imo live by the sword, die by it.

I think a lot of fans just want to be entertained with us in the top half and challenging, doing better in the cups (not losing to L2 in all three completions) and they would like to see a plan for the future which doesn't allow players to walk away for free and includes some youth coming into the first team. I could be wrong but I think a lot of people would take that. With the current leadership that won't happen on the pitch and off it.

I can?t remember the knuckle dragging comment mate. Apologies if I didn?t respond. I thought they all go in corporate anyway.
Yes I was referring to the fans generally including millers mad.
I don?t boo any players. And I get your point but I also understand the frustration with supporters.
Evans has created his own issues and does nothing to make it any better.
I don?t Warne back because again it would be toxic imo.
You seem a little tetchy pal. It?s not like we?re crap at the moment it?s all good. 😁
Be less than 4000 next game so you may be able to specify which supporters you are looking to target. 🤣🤣

I sit in the East Stand and have to say the atmosphere became more toxic as the game progressed.
What was it like in the other stands for people who were actually at the game?

The frustration is not solely because of the sideways and backwards passing, it's because no-one from midfield comes short for the ball so the defenders have little option but to pass it amongst themselves or give it back to the goalkeeper.
This has been a glaringly obvious problem that's been evident all season but nothing ever changes.
Gone are the days when the likes of Barlaser would always be available, Rathbone would put his foot in and even the much maligned Wiles would drive forward.
Of the current crop of midfielders only Joe Powell has a chance of becoming a real quality player but he desperately needs an enforcer alongside him.
Don't blame the fans for getting upset about the sub-standard stuff we've had to endure with no evidence that the current duo can improve things.
