Bass being out for a considerable chunk of the remaining fixtures is a big blow and very likely to result in fewer points obtained unless the club can pull a rabbit out of the hat with a top replacement.

Big fan of Bass this season. We just can?t catch a break when it comes to injuries and absentees this season

The Bass injury just sums up this season.

We have only our selves to blame. We should have kept Brooks, or at least signed another keeper instead of penny pinching. The same applied to Crowley, We replaced him with to academy players.. As for Jodi, I wouldnt bother with him this season. He wasnt fit when he came back, and is unlikely to be fit again this season.

Nothing hindsight about it, it was a fact that we needed another backup keeper, and that Stone and Slocombe were deemed not good enough by most Notts fans.. Like i said, we have ourselves to blame for being in this situation.

The thing with Brooks, he wasn't ready for League 2 football. Plus we had 2 other reserve keepers so why keep a 3rd?

Because our other 2 senior keepers were dreadful, and should have been released. Brooks didnt do that bad when he played a couple of games, bearing in mind what crap played in front of him..
