    Isak

    Can we keep him?

    I certainly hope so.

I think with this cup win and, hopefully, the opportunity to invest in the squad this summer we should be able to keep our main guys.

You can see what it all means to them, and what they mean to each other.

They are a family that work together. The emotion they let spill out after the final whistle for a competition that most people will still turn round say is a Mickey Mouse cup…

We beat the top four to get it, so don’t say the lads didn’t have to work for it.

Anyway, I the pundits can try sell Bruno all they want, I cannot see him going anywhere, same with the rest of them.

We can cull the wage bill letting Wilson go, Almiron has gone already.

    But Isak.

    I just don’t know.

    He’s a machine
    A striker
    Likeable character, but

    Cold
    An assassin

Does he have emotions? Would he bury his best mate on an order and just move on?

He is no Shearer, he won’t stay for love

He wants to be the best, I firmly believe he will stay, if as a club we can show him how he can do that here. We need to make a statement of intent this summer to keep him.

I just can’t see him going to another English club like the pundits seem to think, if he wants to be the best, that is what his next move would be.

Arsenal are serially nothing more than the best losers

Liverpool are a machine and in their day can be the best, and admittedly will win the prem this season, but can they genuinely say they are anything more than a regular top 4 side?

Anyways, I think if he can see the future is black and white, we have every chance to keep him

This week, Isak said while on international duty with Sweden: “There's not much to say, really. I've commented on my situation and my security in Newcastle several times. “It's been written how much I love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I'm not thinking about the future.

“I just want to perform for Newcastle. Now we won the cup, but we want to finish strong and reach the Champions League games. That's where my focus lies.”

Alex pretty much spells out that he's not interested in leaving at all.

Add that to the club wanting a minimum of ?150m up front one time payment, no installments none of the tyre kickers are able to afford that.

Yasir has stated under no circumstances is Isak to be sold this summer.

People don't understand Arab/Saudi mentality. They would rather let their investment go to zero than let a rival own it or buy it.

All the noise the the MSM is to attempt to turn Isak's head. Above is evidence that the lad is 100% content on Tyneside with his band of Cup winning brothers.

The notion that "if the club don't give the players Champions League football ... blah blah blah", is, in my opinion horse shyt!

The players ARE the club. Only that squad can dictate which competition the club plays in next season. It's up to them. Eddie has proven himself as a champion cup winning manager. The players bought in to everything he stands for as a man and manager.

This is proof they were right to trust the club, manager and the process.

We kick on from here, with a reasonably easy run in on 10 games.

Look at things from the other angle. Next season we want to challenge for the top 3, our direct opponents for those 3 positions are gonna be Liverpool & Arsenal among others.

To sell Isak to either of those clubs would basically had over a 20+ goal striker to our direct competition. On one on planet earth is going to do that. Any thought that Newcastle would sell him on an installment basis is hilarious. This ain't Players Direct discount athletes anymore. A club would have to come with ?150m in one payment up front and I'd suspect about ?50m in add-ons.

Aside from Haaland no other striker has a proven record in the Perm for scoring goals.

Moreover, Isak is a big game striker and scored in the final. Never looked worried or nervous. Took both his chances clinically, one being off side the other being the deciding goal that won us the title.

Not even Haaland or Salah has that in their locker. They haven't done it in the BIG/IMPORTANT matches.

We've got the rarest of commodities in Isak, he will sign a new long term contract in the summer and spend the majority of his peak career years in a Black and White shirt.

I really pray for the Mackems to get promoted so Isak can score a double hatrick against them at the field of dog shyte!

I am convinced noone is going anywhere when we finish in the top 4 this season and add 2-3 quality signings.

The good times are just starting to roll.

Liverpool will be in a rebuild phase for 3 seasons at least.

Man Yoo are fked in every way.

City have Haaland and embroiled in legal drama.

Chelsea is a good place to go to end your career.

Arsenal can't afford his fee and have Lego in charge.

    Madrid are stocked.

Yeah exactly. Italian clubs can't afford anyone. Juve are a husk of a club. Barcelona are in so much debt they make the ref filth look like a well run club + the additional debt around the new stadium is gonna mean they'll be in debt for at least 2 decades.

None of our top player are going anywhere.

The only real threat are the giants down the road if they get promoted.

Oh yeah, big threat when they make all that delicious Jobe Bellingham money.

50p n a bag of Tudor should just about cover it!

I'm not seeing anything other than hyper around the lesser Bellingham. Gayle was a monster in the Championship and never did it in the Prem. This lad in his position isn't even standing out in the Fizzy yet he's being linked to cartel clubs.

    Mental!

I think we can keep him for one more season. I think Isak will end up at Barca or Real probably Barca.
