Unlikely I would have thought. Some previous regimes might have had the next manager sitting in the stands before the current manager was shown the door, but it's not really the style of the current owners. I'd guess he either just picked a local game to watch, or was scouting a player from one side or the other with a view to Mansfield's squad-building.

Well it would not be one of ours he's looking at total bag of rubbish!! no quality or ideas, very poor again. No playoffs no forward line, no decent recruitment to replace quality players sold, no replacements for the coaching staff that left under very strange circumstances, no manager with any ideas. Something has happened during the season around the time of the Walsall home game. It all looks to me as though the Bros, have had enough trying to recoup as much monies as possible before getting out. Very sad if that is the case and leaves us wide open to going bust. A very disappointing end to the season, which started on a high note other than the manager!! At best 9th /10 place finish. Today was so bad, attendances already decreasing they will continue to! All the en-devour to get back into the league and we are now served this crap.

Apparently both of the Bros are having sordid affairs with Taylor Swift but she's decided she prefers Nigel Clough and Steve Cooper so the Bros have decided 'sod this owning a football club for a lark' and put Notts up for sale. It's said that they want to keep the stands but sell the pitch for a housing development. Apparently there have been tentative bids from both Alan Sugar and some milk float manufacturer called Leon Skum but they were way too low and didn't include paying the milk bill.
