You'd expect Scunny to be top of that league. He will be injured again before you know it

I'm pleased he's finally rediscovered his fitness and form, but hopefully he's got a more mature head on his shoulders these days. I think he got a bit carried away with his early success at Notts and his attitude wasn't right, even before injuries took their toll. Perhaps a bit like Gazza - more intelligence in his feet than between his ears, but you can live and learn.

I find the criticism of Cal hard to take. He was a fantastic player for us and we should have stuck by him and given him a better opportunity. How I would love to see him at the lane again actually taking on defenders cutting in and loosening a shot into the back of the net. Or we could stick with Gordon who rarely beats his man then if does sends it over everyone's head or Tsaroulla or stops passes back or sends a weak grub hunter gently into the goalkeepers arms.

I totally agree, he was a fantastic player for us.. I wonder if his critics will say the same about Jodi, if persistent injuries force him into non-league football. ???

Yes I've been following Cal at S****horpe with a lot of interest. I can only guess, but he might well be the NLN player of the year, which would make sense. He will then get a chance to kick on at L5 where he's already proven himself. I'd prefer that for him, but some L2 club might think it worth the risk this summer

This doesn?t happen often but I agree.
Roberts was class for us when fit.
Injuries aside, he was good enough to play at this level.

He left to join a team in the Scottish Premier League, we didn't abandon him, he got an opportunity as an arguably better level.

With all his injuries, it had an effect and he was not at the level of Rodrigues at the time so either had to play in a position he was not the best at or sit on the bench if he was to stay at Notts. The weird social media stuff with Regan Booty didn't help things also.

On his day he was great but his injuries as well as attitude has got him to the national league north, compared with Rodrigues who is in the championship

Roberts had dropped into non-league before we even signed him. It's not just injuries that have impeded his career
