Imagine losing at home to Barrow when you're chasing automatic promotion .... oh.
Barrow are second in the form table now! They have beaten Notts, Grimsby and Port Vale and drawn with Bradford and Wimbledon this season. Their record against the top 7 is probably better than ours!

We?ve beaten Wimbledon, Bradford and Grimbsy twice I don?t think there?s anything in it, we?re the same as the rest, as mentioned anyone that can hit any sort of form probably grabs the autos. I wouldn?t be confident it was us but I wouldn?t be confident in the rest either.

We win our next 2 and we could be back in a very healthy position. Looking at the weekend games and next midweek a lot of the top 8/9 are playing each other. We?ve just got to do our bit before we go to Colchester which will be a bruising tough encounter.

Another result tonight goes in our favour and just goes to show the automatic promotion places are still wide open and this league is there for the taking for any team who can win five of their remaining games.

It also shows that as was said at the start of the season there is not much in terms of consistency between the top half teams.

The window of opportunity for us still remains open with two points behind. We simply have to take it and beat Newport on Saturday even if the others above us win it keeps us in the mix.

Exactly. Let's face it, folks. This league is pi55 poor.

Or very competitive with a lot of teams very similar.

He was pretty useless at Morcombe but we recognised he could work well in our system. He now finds himself at a club that wants to play our style but failing. Oh well he'll have a bigger bank balance at the end of the season.

Sounds like Moore rested players in the first half tonight for Vale 8 games to go sitting on the edge of the automatics and he rests players Good result for us and with the games around us the nest couple of weekends we could take advantage....and that's a BIG could!

Yeah I can't be arsed to add up who has the best record against the top 7 out of us and Barrow but my point was that their record is better than you might think from their league position.

Yes the league is certainly competitive. But it's an and, not an or.
