To be fair I know a lot more that you wouldn?t believe. He is as nice as pie to the supporters.

I saw him at his first game in charge at the New York Stadium and I?m there Saturday hoping it will be his last!

I do. There was an ex-Miller who told the story of Evans showing Gazza how to take free kicks.
What he signed Gazza he promised that if the crowd reached a certain number then he would be entitled to a bonus. Even though the stadium was full he Never paid the bonus.
He also used to show them round a different training facility than the one the club used.

Listening to that was typical of SE. I have been leading teams for 35 years now and the way you lead is so different nowadays. I understand football management is different than what I do but it?s still people and personalities.
He try?s to have control and power.
I?ve always gone down the influence route. If you can influence a team of people you end up with all the control and power you need.
I suspect that?s the way Warne led the team with influence as they all would run through a brick wall for him.

    Well said Pocket.

I'm pretty sure that every single player playing for RUFC at the moment would respond exactly the same to SE pitch side as GE did given half the chance and if their livelihood didn't depend upon it.

I've said it before but Steve Evans greatest achievement in football is never getting decked by one of his own players.
