    📝 Tyler Miller Signs

"We have completed the signing of American goalkeeper Tyler Miller.

The 32-year-old joins us on a deal until 30 June having left DC United as a free agent at the end of the 2024 MLS season.

Miller, who has also played top-flight football for Minnesota United, Los Angeles FC and Seattle Sounders, and who has previously received call-ups to the USA squad, is able to join us as our second Elite Significant Contribution (ESC) player alongside Mai Traore, with Alassana Jatta having now played sufficient minutes to be considered a non-ESC player."

It's a good signing in my opinion.
We could have just risked it but it shows the intent of the club to get somebody in with experience to help out.
    Well done Notts.

A tiler and a miller. That could be useful!

    Could be an inspired signing
Echoes of Wrexham with Ben Foster?

Makes sense to bring another GK in. I do not think Slocombe will be dropped, this is probably more to protect us in the event of an injury to Slocombe.

Tells us without telling us that Bass is likely done for the season. Even if he came on for penalties in a hypothetical play-off final it would boost our chances. A good signing.

Not sure the exact prognosis with Bass yet but I think we had talks with Miller's people pretty soon after he picked up his injury
We seem to have good contacts now. Whether they contacted us or vice versa I don't know
Either way it looks a good deal for both parties on the face of it

Could be here longer if he does ok, and wants to stay. What's not to like about Notts
