I thought I?d answered those when I said it was tinkering - saving peanuts in the scheme of things.
As I described it - it?s just fantasy land.

There isn?t any substance to the suggestions.
The comments are also contradictory in saying that we have no chance of getting promotion with these owners and then saying we need to cut costs.
Those comments make no sense to me.

It?s obvious that if we go beyond tinkering and cut costs significantly - which would result in lower players wages - then there is even less chance of promotion.

I do believe more or less what Neerav said when he said this squad is a top 4 squad.
We are in many ways - except in one glaringly obvious department - out and out goalscorers.
We started the season without any out and out goal scorers which killed the season.
And I told Neerav exactly that at the Supporters Trust Meeting way back in November.

IMO - if we had kept Cole and/or McAtee ie proper out and out goal-scorers then we would be be in the top 4.
But it?s clear the club decided not to meet Coles wages.
Hence the reason we are now mid table.

Just one example of what happens when wages are trimmed.
