I actually think he could be loaned to Notts again. Spurs will see how he is developing & the style we play suits him. The big one for me is, the player needs to be enjoying himself on & off the pitch, the rest follows when you are. Ask DC or ML if they are happy enjoying life on & off the pitch

I would love that to be the case but, as others have said, I'm sure he'll be playing at Championship level. Beyond that, who knows, but he has everything it takes to succeed.

With that in mind, do we think he's better now than Yates was when on loan at us? I'd say he's a better all-round player. Like Yates, he plays like a 30-year-old captain despite being a kid, but I'd say he's better on the ball than Yates was. Basically, if Yates can make it as a dependable Premiership midfielder, so can George Abbott.

We're very lucky to have him.

They will have dozens of talented youngsters no doubt and they also generated a turnover of over ?600m and are one of the best commercially run clubs in the world. I am really not sure money will come into it regarding young George.
