Yep, sell the leagues best keeper for peanuts and replace him with a Crichton/Button clone and it costs us the playoffs, all on Mowbray I?m afraid

I don?t blame the club for selling Palmer, but I do blame Mowbray for not playing Griffiths

And yet again we are punished for it. Lots of possession but despite some nice attacking moves and intent we can still be too ponderous and, as you say, when players do make runs they don't always get seen.

Southampton are a decent side and their goal (from a well taken free kick but one Wildsmith should have done better with) has brought them into the game more.

Players clearly still up for this but desperately need to get over this persistent hump of being the better team for most of a game but not being able to capitalize on it allowing the opposition to take the points by doing better with their own chances when they come.

Another game where, so far, we have been the better side but find ourselves behind. We need a little bit of luck from somewhere, anywhere!

Never fear Swift will probably be on at half time and if Wallace was fit he would be on as well, what do Griffiths, Diakite, Dike and Lankshear have to do to get a game

65% possession, 21 shots but only 3 on target. Stats clearly show the problem and frustration.

Still tight between Boro in 5th on 60 points and Bristol currently on 57 like ourselves in 8th though they could leapfrog both us and Coventry today if things go their way.

We can maybe blame Wildsmith for their goal today but it doesn't matter how well we are playing, how much possession we have or how much fighting spirit we display, if we can't put the ball in the back of the net we won't make play offs. This frustration has got to impact on confidence. Just hope goals start to come soon (when is Maja back?)

TM must take a risk and start with Dike up front. We need a big target man as Armstrong has been completely nondescript and lacks the physicality to lead the line. I also feel that Fellows and Johnstone both need to start. I would also bring in Griffiths for Wildsmith as he has cost us unnecessary goals which could prove pivitol come the end of the season.

First thing Monday morning they should be on the training pitch putting crosses into the box. It was absolutely appalling today. So many opportunities to cross the ball and more often than not, it didn't clear the first man.

Just got back. Poor crosses, wrong choices of pass and pub standard shooting. Did not deserve to lose but no way did we deserve to win or look like winning. We are destroying Armstrong as we do not spot his runs or Johnston's half the time. So many times there was space out wide right and we would pass it left to eventually come back and go right when the player by now had been closed down. We lack intelligence and vision and I agree with previous posts that we need to drop Wildsmith as he has cost us too many points
