I think you are wrong on McWilliams. There?s a player in there as we saw in January and Feb.

As for Nombe - if we want to finish mid table again next year he?s a shoe-in. If we want to make any sort of challenge then he bench material at best. Hard work isn?t enough.

Sadly I can?t see either Humphries or Haks staying. It will therefore be another massive rebuild and I?m not convinced there will be much of a budget.

I agree with you on McWilliams but not Nombe, he made both goals yesterday and scored in midweek. Playing under a manager that motivates you will get 15 to 20 goals and at least 10 assists from him and that isn't easy to replace.
The real challenge is in the backroom, needing some independent expertise on why are we having so many injuries and investment in that area is key. There is the issue of contract management, but that isn't a MH job.
The other thing for me is squad size, we went into the season without a full squad, we left the January window with a smaller squad. We need to use the U21 rule to enable us to have cover in all key positions.

I would like you to be correct about Nombe but I can't see where you get 15/20 goals from. I have not seen the last two games but i have seen the majority since he joined and calling him "jigsaw" wouldnt be far off the mark.
