So it looks like we will hopefully finish in the play offs but next season we will be relegated??????
    Some strange logic there?

If we beat Bradford and it’s a massive IF, the mood on here will change again.

In my view, he is not up to the job or capable of getting us promoted, but he has been dealt a pretty rough hand and I think the brothers need to face their share of criticism for the situation (for the first time since they have owned the club). Frankly, I feel sorry for him.

He has, by hook or by crook, had his coaching team dismantled and not replaced; had several key players sold out from under him and not replaced adequately and is now effectively dealing with a squad of young men, who I believe do not respect him and are no longer playing for him, almost entirely alone.

Ultimately, he is the manager and takes responsibility for the results, but the players (and, to some extent, the ownership) have let him down over the past few weeks/months and have to take their share of the blame too.

Do we need better than SM? In my opinion yes, but if he does leave, he can depart with his head held relatively high.
Agree with all that but not sure they?re not playing for him, against MK they played like a team possessed at times. I think the issue is more as players and possibly characters a lot of them are passive and when teams start putting it on them some seem to go into their shells, think SM said they were more a quiet calm group.

I remember LW saying last season I think, we had committed the least fouls when complaining about ref treatment and SM may have said something similar and I thought that?s not a badge of honour. I want to see us at times being a bit nasty, getting around the ref more, it ruffles openenents and refs, we?re just a bit far too nice for me to the extreme.

Well, yeah, maybe. We're a fickle lot. But I think that particular place has already been struck by lightning!

Well spend that on the players budget fine but you need the best man in charge, a good manager can turn average to great.

Remember the season we got relegated to the NL. We were favourites for promotion, and look what happened..

I think any predictions for next season is ridiculous. We don?t know how this season will pan out. We have no idea what players we will have. What I do know is that we won?t be signing has been players like Vaughn and planning will be more meticulous than the scatter gun approach of the relegation season.

Who is making a prediction ? just merely saying what can happen from one season to the next..
