I flew into Newcastle last September and two days later I was flat on my back with a terrible case of Covid, it's been a long time since I felt as bad as that. Spent three weeks in the hotel sick as a dog with awful nausea, couldn't bear the thought of eating and lost 23 lbs. Flew into Toronto after a terrible flight, went to my doctor the next day and she said I should have been in hospital as I'd picked up pneumonia as well as Covid. Obviously I caught the infection from the plane, just hope Eddie didn't catch the same bugs or he'll be gone for a while.

Thanks, yes I eventually got better but it took a while, it's put me off flying though !

Glad you got over the bug CannyL but like E Howe, the virus probably gave up and hospitalised itself in the end.😄

Seen it reported that Eddie has been discharged from hospital today.

Great news if true, just have to hope he takes time to completely recover not push himself to hard to be back.
