There are no circumstances in which I would vote for Reform and being torn between Reform and Green seems odd seeing as they are virtual opposites.

I did meet the Tory candidate last week and we had quite a sensible chat, but I?ll be voting Labour on the basis that, despite all the bad publicity (some self inflicted via poor communication) I think they?ve had a reasonable start in enormously difficult circumstances and I know very little individual detail about any of the five actual candidates.

Aren?t all candidates ?very local? seeing as these are local elections? Certainly all our candidates are resident in the Derbyshire Dales.
I don't know about the local thing nationwide rA, I seldom vote in local elections but the two fellahs I met persuaded me to by their interaction and 'promises'. For detail, it was early morning and they'd chosen the same car park to meet their canvassers

I'm not partisan so not interested in party labels especially in local elections, and what they were promising were more about local matters than national (albeit local to the next-door ward, see my earlier post!). Both were very polite about their opposite numbers, they didn't go as far as a handshake, you never know who has a camera these days...

Lol…everyone! As I think I’ve said before, people used to rush to help, now they take a photo/video!

Never get to meet candidates, would it change my decision? Really don't know but I'll be voting the same way as I did last year. Which despite a certain posters views I'm an avid Starmer fan, it won't be for his party or any of those mentioned above.

Reform reported to be in talks with liz truss. Considering her constantly supporting Trump it seems a logical step.

Talking of Liz Truss, remember the result of her visit to see the Queen. Well JD Vance went to see the pope yesterday. Nuff said

Labour the patriotic party ? I havent laughed so much in years
This plank really thinks we all believe the guff he comes out with.
He s given away billions abroad, doing nothing to stop immigration, currently looking at surrendering more fish stocks, raising taxes more, slowly bring in his blasphemy rules. Even his own MPS are fighting for an airport in Cashmere, whilst the second capitol drowns in rubbish.

Yearh, wave that flag KIer we believe you.
