Blanked out the word that should read s.h.i.t.
I'm glad he's gone today as leaving it any longer would just prolong the agony.
Never does he blame himself it's always the players but he is there to instill the belief and it's clearly failed.
listening to his after match reports in the last month has been tiresome.
The backroom staff also need clearing out and once the loan players have departed, the out of contract players have left and sold a few players for some funds we can try to start again.
Its been ****.

Nobody really knows what goes on behind the scenes, but there are rumours about 4 players being the dressing room bullies, i think we all have an idea who these are.
I Agree totally with Al's comments, maybe time for him just to relax and enjoy life after a terrible illness
No surprise. Fresh start for the new season. Weve got a decent squad just need some additions and a manager with a clue and some oomph.
I'm not saying that player power does not exist OB, nor that some of the comments posted by 79 on another forum which Soulman gave a link to don't hold any truth but it is down to the manager to deal with.
Any manager, in any field, who primarily gets results through the management of people at some point comes across established members of staff who think they are better than they are and who wield an unhealthy influence over others. Difficult as this can be, if you are not strong enough to deal with such individuals then you are not an effective manager. If you cannot turn them around and prevent their disruptive behaviour then ultimately it is bye-bye. In the case of football players then get the support of the board and don't play them if you can't get rid.
If you are universally disliked as a manager, chances are you are doing something wrong but if you can demonstrate that you know what you are doing, treat people fairly, listen to their opinions but are firm and make reasonable demands then you should be at least respected if not necessarily liked-unless you are part of the problem.
