Reading his books, H, can be time well spent particularly his theory of motivation, detailed in his book Drive which is an insight into how important motivation is in mind, body, life & career.

Oh, fishing is great when you fully understand how to make them bite to catch.

Gave up fishing long ago Totty 😎 - sounds like you like the allure of the lure though.

Still think Farke is adequate at this level but can?t cut it any higher / he has many flaws but seemingly self evaluation doesn?t allow him to address those 🤔😊

Actually I hope he gets proper financial backing now.

The man deserves his chance with a big team.

Sorry Billy, have to disagree. We've been very lucky this seasin and had Blunts not imploded (doing a Leeds?) we'd be in the playoffs at best. He's too predictable, too stubborn, unable to really motivate the younger players available via the Academy and/or formulate channels that will get them to the 1st team. He's vindictive and unwilling to entertain any kind of internal opposition ("my way or the highway"), irrespective of whether a player is played in positions that suit them in terms of skill, ability and temperament. I know it's not a democracy but neither is it the army. Need better in the PL

Was bielsa very similar…..stubborn, my way or the highway, he soon got Jansen out after he proved difficult, I’ve always thought farke worked similar to bielsa, his first season back in the premiership was a huge hit, I hope farke proves himself, doubted him after the Luton game but overall I’ve been pleased and like him, begrudgingly admired him at Norwich but felt he never got backed by them, they couldn’t afford players he wanted, Leeds can, let’s back him.

He has struggled in top leagues so not sure how to feel. Deserves to start off yeah but will it lost not sure. Premier league is a lot different from the days where a good squad had a chance now it's top 5 clubs and that's it.
Anyway a bit early to worry about it will be what will be.

Suspect the 49ers will be looking at the position very closely. For all that he has done, there are certain traits that the owners may be less than enamoured with not least his record in the top leagues.

Yes, very similar in temperament, but a world of difference in terms of ability to exploit player capability. Fact is we can't afford to take a chance on a manager who is a repeat failure in staying in the PL (and under good and less good funding circumstances).
