He finally made his first sub but it was too late by then the momentum had shifted and they scored. We did try and force the issue a little at 1-1 and Bedau missed a sitter?but by the end it was Cheltenham who had the belief to be able to pick us off.
Tactically naive and if the majority of a 10k crowd can see that why can?t the owners ??
You?re just changing the way that game played out to blame the manager.
Never looked likely to create chances in the first half? We had loads of chances, we just didn?t score them!
If we?ve had 24 shots Vs 8, we?ve tactically got it right.
The problem was solely down to the fact we didn?t kill the game off.
If we had scored 3 of those 24 chances yesterday, nobody would be saying we were lucky or it was undeserved. We were comfortably the better team in every aspect of the game apart from the most critical part which is the score.

This. There are clearly issues that need resolving with our style of play, but yesterday we were unlucky not to win. If Bedeau heads in from close range, we win the game, and suddenly nobody is annoyed at Maynard for being tactically inept. Such fine margins, and we always seem to be on the wrong side of them.

In September and October I was fully behind this sentiment. I thought we were unlucky in quite a few games and deserved more out of them.

Then it kept happening, and by February and March my mind had changed to this can?t possibly be unlucky anymore. Nobody is this unlucky over the course of a season.

Here we are in late April with the same old hard luck tales.

It cannot be bad luck. It?s down to the head coach why we keep losing. Be it tactically, motivationally. He just hasn?t got it and I?m sad to say he?s just not a winner and doesn?t know how to win games consistently.

Please tell me which game you were watching ?? Chances ?? I was there and I’ve watched the extended highlights. First half we have a couple of 20 yard shots at goal…we create absolutely no chances.

That is just denying that when the 2nd half curtain goes up NCFC are a different side than when the 1st half curtain closed, we ARE a different side 2nd half, that has been displayed time and time again, we drop points/lose games because something happens, if we still had the tea lady we could blame her but we don't, as i said it is an enigma.

We lost the tea-lady to a secret love tryst with Dunk.
