My gut feeling is the opposite.

Clearly one of us has dodgy guts!

Luke Williams would have got this team, with this defence, promoted by early April.

Sadly I cannot prove this. It?s just a gut feeling. It?s a bloody shame we didnt get to see it happen though (yet?!)

Well, as I'm the one eating my wife's cooking, it's probably me.

(In the event she is ever able to pin this comment on me - it's been nice chatting with everyone, goodbye and good luck).

Let?s face it, if we had won, nobody is talking about boring football, we had 24 shots which is 8 more than when we scored 5 past them. The first 20 mins of the second half felt like a training exercise. We carved them open at will.
The performance was good, the result was terrible.
Cheltenham didn?t figure us out, there was no tactical switch. We gifted them a goal and they scored a worldy. As with so many games this season, we should have already been out of sight.
It?s the most frustrated I?ve felt leaving the ground yesterday, but the blame has to lie with the players. We cannot create that many chances and not win the game.
Well said that man! Very well said... I think in the most part we play great football and compared to many many seasons I've seen as a Notts fan this is pretty decent. A couple of wins more and we'd be in auto playoffs and everyone would be happy as.... That's not to say it isn't frustrating and that we could have done better but it's a brutal game at times and that's not all down to the management and players etc...

The basic problem is that only AJ and Didzy are real goal threats at present
    Others chip in very rarely
Only George Abbott looks like scoring otherwise, usually with a worldie
We miss chance after chance and AJ hitting a dry spell has come at just the wrong time
We aren't far from being a very good team
I'm hoping for a change in fortune starting this weekend

His style of football was often exciting, but it could be frustrating too, and sometimes even embarrassing.
Like Sutton on the first day of the season..

How can you say this is the same play as under LW? Maybe at it's most basic level but under LW we passed it quickly and then, and this is the biggest difference, we moved off the ball, I know amazing right. Watching Notts v Salford, Bradford and Cheltenham lately, I can safely say we don't move off the ball hardly at all. Sometimes Gordon may run down the wing or Didzy will run past the defensive line.........and that's it. We haven't even got JOB trying to make things happen or running past the defensive line.

Yes we pass it about now and that's about it, it usually ends up with a long ball to Jatta who gets out muscled and jumped by the CB, rinse and repeat.
