I couldn't watch the game so I will take positive comments about MT at face value. To me he is nowhere near ready for the cut and thrust of L2, as Durham says, I would sooner see Morias buzzing around AJ.
I still have a sneaky feeling that MT is pencilled in to replace AJ.

Jamie Vardy anyone? Anyone? Still wants to play and only a little bit older than Didzy!😄

I think a championship club might pick him up maybe Wrexham?

Vardy to Wrexham is an excellent shout.

SMs relationship with picking/not picking Gordon has been really strange this season. You get the feeling he does not really rate him and then bang, he comes in for a few games and then out again.

The only advantage the EFL can give is the 2nd leg at home. For us, the crucial 2nd leg might be better away.

Teams come to ML a bit cagey and distracted by the prospect of the 2nd leg
We play with less pressure at home as it's not the be all and end all of the tie
There might be less chance of the team tightening up and choking again in the 2 leg rather than at home
I see what you are saying AC but if we play well away and win, the opposition will not be coming down here to put 10 men behind the ball.
I am more worried about who our opponents might be.
Bradford, Walsall and Grimsby would be good.
    Wimbledon, Colchester and Salford bad.
    IMO of course.
All ifs and maybes. Still a very slight chance of autos and a bit bigger chance of missing out altogether.

Jarvis is not a wing back...!
Let's hope Durham's opinion on Traore is as accurate as his donkey/cart Horse one for Mcgoldrick !!?

Jarvis does better when coming on against tiring defenders
If he wanted to he could be anything
But no one knows which version is going to turn up match to match
Hopefully tomorrow it will be the hard working and positive variety

Was actually impressed with Traore last time out was involved in some nice build up play but agree not enough time to get a partnership with Jatta formed and effective at this late stage.
I agree, Traore was aggressive and his passing is looking good - as he gets used to the new squad I can see him being a good asset.

I don't feel like that this time. When we were last in this position in 2017/18 there was a fierce debate on here about our play-off opponents.
We finished 5th and landed Coventry away first, not a good outcome as we know.

This time I don't care who we face if we get in. Nobody scares you. We can beat all of them and all of them can beat us. If we perform to our very best, we'll be alright, so you could say it'd be in our hands. Unlike the Coventry tie, I would prefer to be at home first leg though
