    The Financial Statements for July 2025 will make interesting reading after all the activity last summer. The Burnley Express reckoned that we brought in ?87.7 million in player sales. That may or may not include the comp for Der Kaiser.

    Debt stood at ?92 million. The net loss (hopefully after EBITDA) was ?29 million even after being in the PL for the year.

    It will be a major achievement if the debt has come down significantly bearing in mind the reduced revenue in the Championship.

    We will see how well ALK has been able to manage the finances this season.

    It is the level of borrowing and the interest being charged that worry me Swiss.

    I agree Outwood. Increasing debt and the related interest costs are a potentially vicious circle. What I hope to see is these elements at least stabilising showing that, despite relegation, the finances are moving in the right direction.
