The rumour is Ange is gone and Cardy Parker is in the frame. If Scotty does get that gig, who should we go for?
How about John Eustace? I was chatting to my brother about him earlier. Did an excellent job at Birmingham until he got potted for Rooney. Birmingham then went into freefall and got relegated.
Next job was Bastids. Got them into the top 6 and then left for relegation threatened Derby. Bastids then went into freefall. He seems able to galvanise teams.
It's either Eustace or Carlo Ancelotti for me.

Well if getting Burnley promoted to the EPL can get you the Bayern gig then Spurs would be by comparison a shoo-in. Spurs obviously have more to offer but trophies is not one of them. Ask Harry Kane.
If offered I think he would take the Spurs job. They do not come along too often. It would be a pleasant surprise if he decided to stay with us.
I wonder what figure Alan Pace has put the compensation figure into Cardy's premature departure contract is?
"We only want them around if they want to be around" should be our mantra. I think SP knows the Spurs set up, BFC in the EPL would be a real challenge, I think he will stay unless Mrs Parker wants out.
This is a tough one for me as Parker has lots of history with spurs and he?s from down there as well.
It reads well ex player comes home but I have a strange feeling that won?t be enough Leevy will want a big name to attract big name. Players - and if I?m honest if Spurs fans get served up a few 0-0 no shots on target scenarios days would be numbered.
Apart from bank balance this time I?d think hes better off staying.
We all sometimes speak of loyalty etc but just like me you anyone really if the money offer comes and it?s substantial you have to look and think family - future etc
So if he?s on 1.5 million with us and they offer 4.5 million you have to go.
He's not a tried & tested EPL manager, quite the opposite in fact. Two relegations on his CV with Fulham & Bournemouth and a disaster at Bruges in Belgium won't entice Levy. If he can keep us up next season his stock will rise exponentially and that's when we will risk losing him.
Pace could well offer Cardy an extension right now, he's not daft isn't our Alan.![]()

Neither was Postecoglou BT.
