An over thinking this? Anti NUFC Prem Agenda

3.31 am, another airport departure lounge, that delightful airport lighting and constant flight announcements in 2 languages.

The complimentary breakfast was decent but why are the tea cups always the size of a thimble?

Killing time I perusing the Newcastle United related news as usual. This article popped up from the Official Premier League website.

"Analysis: Brighton plan to catch Newcastle cold again"

    https://www.premierleague.com/news/4299383

"Adrian Clarke assesses why Eddie Howe's side have struggled away from home against other top-half teams"

It goes on to detail that we've only won 1 of 8 away matches against top half teams.

Is it me or is this yet more negativity being throw at us? I don't see a lot of other articles specifically about the failures or flaws of a certain team. Usually the articles are about how a team like Brighton is doing so well.

Perhaps it's the fact normal people are currently sleeping, yet, unlike normal decent human beings this freak of nature is once again wide away and 5 days into a chaotic 18 day work/travel/meeting cycle.

    Yay me!

All the best, time to refill the thimble of the 7th time.

I also dislike the tiny cups of tea.

I want a proper size damit. Just means I have to drink about 8 of them.

In regards to your point, I think you're right their is an anti-Newcastle agenda and it'll only get worse till we're tolerated at the top table.

Is it not a case of anything to sell trash newspapers.

You rarely get these sort of articles in the quality press.

Usually yes but this is on the Premier League's own website. Not a media outlet. Its the media arm of the Prem.

Showing the media team of the cartels stooges are following their masters orders. IMO

Whilst there's definitely an antiNewcastle agenda, it does, however, highlight one of our failings.

Aye Zip, we're all aware of the hoodoo we face against Brighton. I completely accept that point.

What galls me is that the Premier League's own PR team are highlighting it.

20 equal shareholders own shares in this company, why do they feel the need to alienate and ostracise us?

It's literally always us as the negative example.

Furthermore, has anyone see the 'Goal of the month' contenders? Neither Murphy nor Tonali are included.

    See comment above.

It's so boring having to keep point this out. I know you lads are all well aware and probably sick of me pointing it out but FFS it's beyond a joke at this point.

The City fans warned us about this. I think any non-cartel club on the rise will get the same. When you realize that then it needs to be taken as a compliment. Right, whos signing Isak this week?

Yeah my City mates and I talk about this all the time. They're always laughing at me ranting on about it and tell me that they had it from the day they signed Elano, the media mocked him and them. Then as soon as he came good and started to make waves, Andy my City mate, told me every day the Press had him off to the filth or the Bin dippers.

    Daily.

    F**k them all!

Aye-Tonali's I can understand, given what he himself said about it.

Murphy's, on the other hand, had it been scored by one of the media's darlings-Salah, Saka, Rice, for example-it would have been played on a loop for weeks on SSN.

They'd have it as the new SSN Intro 'stinger' if it was one of the aforementioned. Much like they had the Rooney over head kick against city as their stinger for about 18months & still roll it out over the festive period each time I'm back home.

That was 14 yrs ago. Utterly ridiculous how irrelevant that club is now compared to how much more City have win in the mean time.

I'm personally Glad to continue to be under rated and under the radar.
