Thread: Peterborough United Post Match Thoughts

Decent nothing game, was well impresed with Gore,no idea what Gru is on about(No change there),love it when average league 1 teams think they are Man City, wonder how many times this season they have cocked up playing it around the defence for 10 minutes.
Make sure Haks and Wilkes are here next season, and that Hugill and JCH aren`t.
I`m sure we will have half a new team come August, and rightly so.

Too lightweight. Got to get recruitment right next season on today he wouldn't improve us.

Gore's movement was something to behold. An absolute quality footballer.

No end product though. Like MH says it's business when deciding who we keep next season on today my opinion it's a no.

Enjoyable game, fair result, good football and thank you to both sets of players for not being on the beach.
First the negatives: inexcusable lack of concentration and commitment in the first 30 seconds. Back off, back off, bang. Goal. Then after bossing them we decide to sit deep and become punch drunk. This has become a pattern under Mr Hamshaw and it needs to stop.
Positives: some good individual performances especially from Odoffin and Humphreys. Pleased to see Cameron find the net.
And whatever bad things we have to say about Steve Evans he was the one who signed Joe Powell.
He will be here next year and I hope the other two will be too. This rests with the chairman. The fans are watching Mr Stewart

Don’t know what you were watching, Gore was a breath of fresh air and youthfulness that we need. Just remember he’s only had one week training under MH. The end product will come and I can see him scoring some cracking goals too.

If Dan Gore is so poor how come he has represented England at U16, U18 and U20 level.

I enjoyed the game but it was a game with no risk.

    Roll on next season!
