Gillingham, is that where Gareth Ainsworth went? It will be a match made in heaven then if JCH ends up there 🙂.

Mark my words he?s league 2 bound but probably with a pay off from us which will impact our next season budget.

Hammy will probably be okay with that having off loaded a wardrobe

No it's not pal, both MT and SE were the Managers in charge of the team at the time and it was THEIR request both thes eplayers came to the club, don't blame upstairs on this scenario.

''For a bunch of people who we are told run the club well financially, they make some shocking recruitment decisions in terms of contract management''.......now that I can see some light in. Their retention rate though is absolutely abysmal.

You always seem to dig at Douglas but how much involved is this Karen in all of this?
I never mentioned Douglas in my post, you are projecting your own filter onto my words. The executive management includes all those that sit above and around the manager and have senior management responsibilities at the club related to finance, contractual and policy.

I see your point on SE and MT requesting the players, but there is no way that those people sit and negotiate contracts with players. They will input to the process in terms of comparisons to other players and in terms of contract length but if RUFC financial decisions are made by SE and MT then we are in a much worse situation as an organisation than I ever imagined.

Derbs, chill fella . The point I was making on the financials is that you have in the past this season alone, ridiculed Douglas on multiple occasions hence my reference of you about him, nothing more than that.

As for both MT and SE, they will have both been fully aware of what the players wage demands were, as they too had to factor in how much of the budget TS provided to them, so they didn't overspend in certain areas when recruiting. Everyone invloved from the boardroom down to MT and SE were ALL involved recruiting these two.

Brin I am perfectly chilled, i am just pointing out you stated i said something about an individual at the club that I didn't say. Any comments about that person in the past are just that previous comments based on my opinion and not relevant to this post.

I have been pulled up previously for my opinions about that person, and as such i am now very careful not to reference that person directly.

Brin, he is well liked by Bristol Rovers fans, so he might be an option for them as well.
