Charlie Whitaker was not signed as a replacement for Crowley. He is not that type of player. He does have a lot of ability and certainly puts himself about a bit on the pitch.
Yes he is young and currently a bit too lightweight but that will change. Certainly worth another year or two.
I think we would come to regret letting him go.
Mind you, it is possible that he won?t want to renew. That would be a story in itself.
