Palmer and Hinchy, in whichever league, will be good options. I think Robertson has got a lot about him, but he needs to get and stay fit.

A quality 10 should also be high on the agenda. I would be more than happy to keep Whitaker too.

I think we will see a lot from Lucas Ness next season too. I can see him being a big hit.
He is too slow for a defender, and as a turning circle of a bus..

I can't agree the squad is as close as that to being good enough. If we are relying on player like Ness, with 36 league appearances in 5 years, then we're effed. We have to be realistic about injury-prone players, even Jones. I just think we need a rebuild of Man United style proportions this summer, for much the same reasons, we are wedded to a 3 at the back system and our midfield isn't good enough.

The whole center midfield needs a complete overhaul. Palmer has been left wanting. Abbot won't be with us next season. The bald guy. Who's name I can't even remember is atrocious.

The number one priority has to be finding some creative midfielders who can either find that defence-splitting pass OR, and I think more importantly, can carry the ball forward past players and score goals from midfield. Our midfield's lack of dynamism, creativity and contribution in terms of goals has been our undoing.

Next a striker as Jatta has fallen off a cliff and I think is quite limited.

Then a ball winning defender to replace Abbott (a least to a certain extent).

So the bald guy is also a carthorse?

Aren?t we all so called experts? Or have we actually got a bona fide football expert posting on this website?

Midfield is a major priority. Our assists have fallen off a cliff this season. Of our current players Abbot is highest with just 6.
