As for ourselves the lad's off to Barcelona for a few days and then he'll be heading for Kavos a few weeks later, the wife and myself will most likely be staying at home where we'll be just as miserable in each other's company as we would in foreign climes but for no further outlay �� .

As a regular visitor to Dublin and the ROI for rugby and in general, yes I can confirm 68, I am aware it is not part of the UK.

Nothing wrong with a stay at home holiday but try to cheer up . We also do a stay home one every so often. Your son is lucky lad Barcelona is indeed a fantastic city as is Saville. We have been to both many times. Although not a particularly religious person the cathedrals in both are amazing.

There is a reason we choose the area of Malaga, I will not go into that on here to deeply, other than to say it is for the benefit of those less fortunate than ourselves. Annually the business assists a family in a charitable way to a trip to that area. We have a base there and have contacts, therefore it is very easy to arrange annually. We do normally go as a family but this year it will be just me and the good lady as our two young ones are unable to join us due to educational reasons.

Anyway, whoever you are and wherever you go, just enjoy it.
