There is one big thing in our favour.
Wimbledon will be overwhelming favourites - and that can sometimes be dangerous.
Yeah, I just want to see us absolutely go for it. Go at them from minute one and don't stop.

If the football gods are fair, Wimbledon's fist pumps and their owner talking about how he's looking forward to playing Walsall in the final should work against them. It should certainly motivate our players. If aren't up for this one, what's the point?

God I hope the players don?t look at this site?. It?s completely defeatist.
It wasn?t long ago that some were asking why Didzy was still playing, now look.
Didzy is a class act and like any player of his quality, he will be missed. Jatta, had a good first half of season, less effective the second half. I?d say he?s lucky that he hasn?t been rested more.
Both these players have been central to the way we play? however, with both missing, the players that come in will probably force a tactical switch. One thing I?d expect is more ?legs? and ability to run Wimbledon around.
Wimbledon aren?t Barcelona and I didn?t see a great deal from them that worries me if we have a good go?. Notts will need to get through the initial home team onslaught? keeping it tight and not chasing the game too early. It?s obvious, us scoring first is paramount?.
I have faith that the players have a big push in them?

Didn't try to pull the strings as much or do as much running
If Maynard had rested Didzy last Saturday he would have been absolutely crucified on here, he cant win with some, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. COYP it's not over until the fat bird sings.

    From BBC site

With McGoldrick and Jatta out after scoring a combined 39 goals in all competitions this term, Notts head coach Stuart Maynard said the East Midlands side will "change tactically" for Saturday's second leg at Plough Lane.

"We don't have that focal point and we will have to look at it in a different way with a different approach," Maynard told BBC East Midlands Today.

This is exactly why people where questioning the lack of January activity. Decent forward cover could well have seen us get automatic and is needed right now in what is probably the most important game so far this season. A lack of foresight or a financial ceiling? Oh, and Traore is not the answer in a blood and guts L2 (just my opinion of course).

I assume the club thought Traore was that decent forward cover. It was always going to be a gamble compared to bringing in a player who's already done well at this level.

There's a difference between rested & injured. He was the latter. If your injured your injured & not fit to play. Everybody understands that.
He should have put him on the bench if he felt needs must. Wasn't a do or die game.
Hopefully Whittaker will put a shift in

There is lots and lots of evidence that tells us that if McGoldrick was on the bench last weekend then Stuart Maynard would have been crucified. 100% guaranteed
Damned if you do and damned if you don?t. You rarely can please an entire fanbase or come even close to

He played 93 minutes he wasnt injured otherwise you dont play that long.

He got injured running back and it looks like he pulled his hamstring.

We just have to get on with it as big a blow as it is to lose him and Jatta.
