The amount of people that call Ardley, his stats massively embarrass Maynard's. I was shocked at the gap to be honest

    Supporters are not customers.
So, if Liverpool or Man City were in the National League they would have the same amount of Supporters? Supporters are customers and when you start to take them for granted you're on a downward spiral. Do you think the Bros's projections for the club are not based on increasing the fan base to increase revenue? Increasing the fan base is tough enough with the attraction of Forest over the Trent, but getting any additional supporters into Meadow Lane and importantly keeping them engaged and coming down on a regular basis is the key, and that I'm afraid is down to entertainment and like it or not Notts are in the entertainment business with Supporters / Customers having plenty of other options in these hard times.

In a year or so's time, their capacity will apparently be increased by 12,000.

So the question would be - Are there currently 12k Fword fans who can't or struggle to get tickets not going to football matches, watching it on TV and waiting for the ground to be re-developed? Or are there say 5-10% of those 12k going to Notts instead for the time being? 600-1200 would not be not an insignificant number to Notts, if the latter scenario was the case.
How many young supporters have Notts hoovered up in recent years that weren't able to go to Fword because of a supply/demand issue? Will that well dry up when they increase their capacity?

Maynard is at a 41.4% loss rate...

And before anyone argues the time, Ardley had 108 games, Maynard has had 70...
Its impossible to defend anyone who presides over that boring dross week after week.. Its pointless keeping him, as next season will be just more of the same shyte..

I'm sure in his post match interview he said the players were due back in on Tuesday to discuss their individual futures.

If the retained list is announced before any announcements on SM's future I would assume he will be here again in August. That is likely to be the worst decision the brothers have made since taking over at Notts.

    Why ?

Maynarrd or whoever is head coach has no say who is offered a contract.

We signed Lamgstaff/Scott whilst we had no head coach too.

I can see us signing players with no head coach. This is the other way around though. A coach that is due to be let go should not carry any weight in the decision making - his post-match seemed to suggest he would be talking to the players on Tuesday.

As I said sporting director is one who offers the deals.

Id imagine its an easy call anyway McGoldrick to stay anyone else is not offered new deal.
