With the thread about Jordan Gabriel the other day; and with the transfer window opening in less than a months time, I thought I'd get this thread started.

Obviously, we'll know more about what we do and don't need regarding transfers once the retained list has been released, but I've just seen that Tyrese Fornah has been released by Derby; from what I've seen of him, he's exactly the type of midfielder we're crying out for.

I?d probably be tempted to offer a year contract to someone who?s experienced like Billy Sharp or Jordan Rhodes both getting towards the end of there careers and would probably settle for being a squad player.

Will Collar - Stockport
Randell Williams - Leyton orient
Dilan Markanday - Blackburn
Ryan Colclough - Chesterfield

I like both Markanday and Colclough, but we already have two great wingers in Jones and Jarvis, who we always play out of position. Not sure we need two more.

Will Collar would be decent. I thought we should have signed another ex-Stockport midfielder in Croasdale last summer, but he joined a club serious about promotion (Port Vale) instead.

So what happens when one or both are injured this was one of our issues this season no quality in the squad. We need a big clear out and at least 12 quality players coming in. The teams that get automatic promotion have quality throughout the squad look at Wrexham Stockport etc !! The clear out should start with Maynard .
