Thanks for the clarity.
From my perspective he?s made some comments like the Hamas thing which were at best distasteful but imo disgusting.
Referring to what happened flippantly.
He uses his position to promote his own views which is ok but freedom of speech comes with consequences.
I think there is a growing frustration with how the country is being run and as 1 point illegal immigration is being managed.
He?s been vocal about this and openly insinuates that people are racist for expressing concerns around this.
He?s imo a Champaign socialist who preaches to people who are affected by some of the issues in the country which he isn?t around what they should be thinking and have to tolerate. Just my opinion.
And me. The sooner we move to a point where the only people in the media are those who share the editorial views of The Daily Mail the better.
Mmm... Isn't it supposed to be the liberal woke who get upset about 'hurty words' and promote 'cancel culture'? Seemingly not on MillersMad.
Hurty words referring to people getting raped and killed as the hamas thing.
You left wingers really are despicable in your views if it suits the narrative.
Then again the job that you do means you have no morals or principles.
Anything for money 💰 anything to suit your agenda.
You are shameful Kerr intelligent maybe but despicable.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch....

He is what he is. Public school educated, then the sheltered life of commodities trading which developed into a millionaire lifestyle. His exposure to foreigners being those caught up in his lifestyle. He has no first hand experience of the problems mass immigration causes and as such has developed a daily telegraph reader view of the world.
Step forward....
Here's a clue if you need one - he has first-hand experience of foreigners taking the jobs that Brits don't want, being married to a German.
I keep seeing this being referred to and watched the Linekar interview you keep referringt to. In fairness to Linkekar, he was in a natural flow of conversation and when he said 'the hamas thing' he was just referring to the atrocity committed by Hamas as part of the point he was making. I don't think that he meant that disparagingly in any way, he was just trying to communicate thoughts on the issue - I think he's been quite clea that what Hamas did on that day was appaling and unjustifiable. Of course it was leapt on by Julian Hartley-Brewer who was then circulated around the usual media circles and many were outraged without even watching it. On that instance, I thought the outrage was not reflective of the actual footage and the way Linekar said what he did.
However, the image of the rat he shared last week was ignorant and naive from him and he deserves all the flack he gets for that. At least he has taken responsibility for his ignorance on that.
Really can?t agree with you raging.
He is an educated man and what he said and what he said about the rowanda plan referring to natzis and as you point out the tweet last week and the Hamas thing is calculated views.
If it?s just hurty words we have people locked up for hurty words on twitter. Yes they were wrong and not something I agree with but it seems political bias is clouding people judgements.
I get that Lucy connely I believe her name is went too far with her views but she?s just had her appeal declined. Yet we have peadophiles walking free.
All this adds up to why people are feeling like they do towards political driven views are ok depending on who says it.
The labour MP talked about slitting people?s throats yet still hasn?t been to court yet.
Resentments is growing. And people like Linekar are silent on some things but vocal on others. It?s blatantly obvious to sensible people.
Some hateful folk about.
