Good news, we still need a bit more experience in the coaching set up though.

It will be interesting who the assistant manager will be Pocket. We have a rookie manager,a rookie coach so will the 2nd in charge be an older experienced type or another rookie? In any case,the place seems to have a really positive vibe about it now.I don't think anybody is demanding promotion,we just want to see improvement and a clear vision of where we are heading.

A good season will be getting the age of the squad down. Playing with an identity and winning a few more games.

Last couple of seasons here playing but that's history now.

The last season he had in L1 where he completely bossed our back line, and the following season where he scored some key goals early on and added much needed experience to the back line? I seem to remember his replacement (Morrison) coming in and making Wood's movement look like a young Maradona - the change from Wood to the first few games with Morrison was scary.

But yeah, the jury seems to be back with a very positive verdict and I'd add to that. Welcome home Woody.

Frecks would be a rookie too but Dale Tonge has worked with Stendel at Barnsley and is now Asst Manager at Peterborough.

Made him look good cause his replacements weren't up to it or carrying injuries like Hall & Morrison.

Sensible comments. I do hope we get an experience assistant mgr in though, otherwise the elephant in the room about "doing it on the cheap" starts to ramp up
