Yes, we don't have quite enough promotion-level players, but I don't think Walsall, Bradford etc have either. It's about getting the most out of the resources you have.

SM had enough resources to NOT go on the long, disastrous runs in both seasons that saw us plummet from prime positions.
In key matches like home to Barrow, Cheltenham etc, away at Colchester we still had the players to get something out of those incredibly important matches. Choking at times like that is a terrible sign. If it were amateur senior ladies bowls then no problem, but at high pro-level football you have to demonstrate that you can perform when the going get's tough and the chips are down. We've consistently shown exactly the opposite.
I agree on home form and I was more concerned when teams weren?t parking the bus we still lost. I think there?s been some great away performances but they dropped off. I do wonder if some of it?s been down to fatigue and there?s a few players that haven?t had any sort of a rest because of injuries.

Some players just haven?t been up to it all, said all season we were weak at 10s and WBs and then drop offs in Palmer and Jatta which I thinks down to Palmer playing so much after injury and Jatta having no rest in a very physical league playing his first full season.

I really hope we don?t sack him without a replacement lined up, I can?t see LW or Buckingham coming unless we offer them a very good wage and promises of very decent backing, maybe LW can be tempted with the emotional connection.

I'm hoping this wait is the bros lining up the next boss to announce soon after the sacking of SM.

I'd like to think SM was told soon after the play off defeat and has packed his bags already.

    Let's see...

Whoever it is, and whenever it happens, I hope the next man has the same conviction in his beliefs as LW.

Maynard is similar to Burchnall (Fullarton was another) - too mindful of what old blokes in the Pavis or NCM think. Slag off players you think you can get away with or what that audience wants to hear like Eli Sam, waste a year playing Kelly-Evans over Nemane, pick Austin over Jarvis, talk a lot about mistakes or go more defensive.

I want to go back to someone like Williams telling fans they're wrong about short corners and they better get used to it. Someone with the courage to do it his way.
