Right decision again by the Bros, I think Maynard gave it his best shot but fell short of what's required to get a team promoted. Hopefully we see a replacement before the transfer window opens or we're facing a familiar problem of attracting the right players who want to know who they're coming to play for.
Doubtful it will be Williams but who knows, we know he can hold his own at this level but league 1 should we win promotion would be a struggle for him in my view.

Think you've missed the point of my post. Not sure I mentioned anything about playing staff either?

You didnt but I dont think they were astute in terms of not giving him coaches basically put a laptop bloke on sidelines as his number 2.

Not exactly a winning formula in my view but we'll have to see what happens now.

I see rumours of Saunders brothers but there has been no clarity over why they left it is very odd.

I have apologised for my mistake - I am suitably mortified.

I actually think SM may well take a lot from this experience and work his way back up, but right from day one he seemed to have imposter syndrome and tried to mask it by using rehearsed football nonsense phrases. The whole look thing was slightly annoying but most folks have these gap fill words when public speaking (anyone under 30 these days seems to use the word like to fill silences in sentences so that is fair enough). It became intolerable at the point where every interview had the same phrases to play Maynard bingo with. When we cross the white line, we need to create an overload, committed from minute one, managing minutes, this group always bounce back, bodies back on the grass, great to have him in the building, good for the football club (we know it is a football club, so you can just say club) etc etc. We could tick them off the bingo card. It basically made him sound inauthentic and lacking any charisma and if he gets another shot then he should dispense with this nonsense and just be himself, which is probably a nice bloke with a good coaching brain.

Tbf LW pedalled out the same interviews for us and he did at Swansea.

On LW I?m a bit split, I think it will certainly give the club an initial boost but in L2 it was a bit all over the place under him but certainly a better watch at home.
If he does come I don?t want any of this ?I love this club I want to be here forever? rubbish, just do your job and leave the club loving bit to us.

I'm a bit split on Luke Williams as well, I certainly think the fans generally would be onboard but what people need to remember is despite the protestations of many things WERE starting to slip under him last time and if he came back I reckon the owners would have to back him heavily because that's the real reason he left last time, he wanted two defenders in January and it wasn't happening.
