Yes
No
Whoever it is, and whenever it happens, I hope the next man has the same conviction in his beliefs as LW.
Maynard is similar to Burchnall (Fullarton was another) - too mindful of what old blokes in the Pavis or NCM think. Slag off players you think you can get away with or what that audience wants to hear like Eli Sam, waste a year playing Kelly-Evans over Nemane, pick Austin over Jarvis, talk a lot about mistakes or go more defensive.
I want to go back to someone like Williams telling fans they're wrong about short corners and they better get used to it. Someone with the courage to do it his way.
I think the fact we haven't had a statement about the season just gone along with the retained list points to the fact Maynard is going. I have no knowledge of this fact but if you have a retained list, it's not hard to say last season was good enough, we go again next season and we're backing the manager blah blah blah. The gap between the two is saying to me that they are in talks with his replacement and they will announce the review once it's done.
When was the Halifax away game? I remember watching Nemane start on the left in a rare 4-2-3-1. Did OK. First half of the season I think
The point is Montague signed him as a RWB, and he was introduced as such, but we had to wait a full year and LW to see it. And put up with DKE for a full year, in a league we should have been attacking, not scared of.
Conservative decisions influenced by a play-it safe approach and keeping certain vocal fans quiet.

Btw I said someone LIKE Williams, I wouldn't want him back - he comes from too far away, we need somebody closer
Maynard has gone...Great news
As long as the new bloke has more than one conviction he can stick to them as much as he wants.
