Have to give him credit for sticking with Thelin under that terrible run, plenty of people wanted him to pull the trigger but hes backed Thelin and it looks like it?s paying off.
I have no qualms about him opening up to the reporters and saying what he thinks?.he is the main man at Aberdeen FC so he gets to have his say.
I wanted rid of Thelin but as you say he backed him so he is obviously trying to give him a far better chance to succeed with Aberdeen than he did with the previous incumbents he picked.
As for the paying off bit of your statement?.lets have a look at the end of the season and see what we achieved.
We are still glaringly weak in a few areas and i still believe we don?t do enough training of the players for my liking. Look at our style of play during that game?we were really powderpuff attacking a very poor Hearts team.

    Well done Davie min.

Took on the SFA on the ticket allocation issue and won.

We dandies stepped up and bought the tickets and the players, coaches and manager did the rest.

We've nearly all had a pop at him these past few years, but his heart is in the right place and the whole club is light years away from when he took over, both on and off the pitch.

Dave Cormack - Cup Winning Aberdeen Chairman.

I was emotional anyway at the game but tears were rolling down my face on the way home when I heard the story told by Kenny Crawford who personally thanked our chairman after the game.
Think it was after the game at Tannadice where Kenny was talking about a 10 year old boy who had tragically lost his dad and they used to listen to Sportsound on way home from games, and he said Dave Cormack had heard about this and got in touch and he would get the details for the family and do something for the laddie.
10 year old Callum was Our mascot yesterday

Will never take away the pain of losing his Dad, but well done Mr Chairman

Sure his dad was looking down with pride on his loon leading out the team

That is what I like to hear and a real touch of class from Dave Cormack.
We all have a go at Aberdeen FC staff now and again but Dave Cormack is one of us. He wants to win. He backed his manager and next season he will back him even more.
He is a massive improvement on the incumbent who ran the club before he took over.
