Thread: Bottled it

    Bottled it

We absolutely bottled the Champions League spot today, luckily Man United done us a favour. Villa played 12 matches in the Campions league this season.

Anyway happy to be in the CL but our squad seriously needs freshing up.

That could have been a sickner today. It could have meant us losing one or two big players. Still might but it gives us a geeat chance to keep the squad and build it even more for next year.

You create your own luck in life.

Once upon a time We lost out and finished 5th on the last day.

The club is not under a cloud anymore, we are a positive club and luck is on our side.

Times have changed. Wasn't a good performance, flat exhausted players and a disappointing performance but we qualified, so who gives a sh!t.

No one is gonna be whining when we're in Italy, Spain, Germany or Portugal next season.

Time for a nice break and for the Transfer Madness to switch into top gear!

    Howay the Mitchell!

Eddie looked completely underwhelmed! He would not have wanted to qualify like that! We were pretty terrible all game, looking forward to the summer window!

Why play 5 at the back at home to Everton ? Should have been 4 3 3 and go at Everton from the start like we have plenty of times this season.

We can't have been tired. No Europe and for tge past month 1 game a week with players like AG having had a rest recently. At a loss.

However, we did it. Well done the lads.

I was saying this too. Its like he doesnt want to bench Botman, Schar or Burn. Should have gone 4-3-3 and started Trippier.

Dunno about you mate. I was tired. It's been a exhausting season of emotions. The highs, the lows.

The pressure was something that obviously got to the lads today. Fortunately we got away with it. Luck was on our side. In years gone by luck was always against us.

    It's a brave new world.

We are winners and lady luck smiles of those bold souls!
