Best outcome for Notts, Wombles an awful awful side to play against - Very effective at what they do though, congratulations to them.

Walsall were awful. Wimbledon just solid, no nonsense and effective, which is why they got this opportunity and we didn't.

Still, you win or you learn. Next season we need to be that team, substance over style.

Agree, I'd fancy our chances next season a lot more against Walsall.

Since they lost Nathan Lowe they've looked more like a relegation than promotion team.

I suspect the Walsall fans will be calling for a change of manager. Reckon it was a now or never for them and I don't think they'll challenge next season. Wimbledon will finish bottom of League One next season.
Still sick that we've not gone up. Utterly shameful that we couldn't get promoted out of that woeful league.

If we learn from this season, it could still be a blessing in disguise. Next season's league doesn't look much stronger (if at all), so an experienced managerial appointment and good recruitment this summer, allied with a more dynamic and aggressive way of playing, could see us take the division by storm and go up much more 'battle ready' for League One than we were this time. Let's be honest, the Maynard team that finished the season, with his way of playing, would have been ripped to shreds in the old Division Three.
