A bit of a contentious one. The greatest moment was probably the first one. Manchester United FA Cup 4th round away Feb 66. Teams played their first teams then. Bobby Charlton Denis Law Nobby Stiles, George Best John Connelly.
In the context of who we were playing, the team they had, and the year it was, i.e. only 5 months before England won the World Cup, and considering that a number of players who were in the Man U team, held 0-0 by Rotherham United, went on to lift the World Cup.
It was a phenomenal result at the time and in a context that will never be repeated. It was my first ever away game. Over 54,000 there too & we weee on a special train from Roth.

We had a very good side then and only a little bit of tweaking needed to perhaps be knocking on the door to the top division. But for one fleeting season in 1981/82 we haven?t come as close since, but in the early to mid sixties, we were an established level 2 side. Somehow it went a bit downhill from there, so this has to be my finest hour following the Millers.

Yes, I was at that game. Probably the most I've ever enjoyed a 0-0 draw.

Just before my time but looking at the quality of the Man U side for that game it's got to be our best result in our history.

Good team as they won the title the season before and season after, only finished 4th in 65-66 though.
