Good news that Flavell has signed a new contract and hopefully this is followed up by securing the services of of our other youngsters who are showing progress , Bland , Yoga and Jalo all need to be under healthy contracts plus of course we have young Wilkinson who will be approaching full pro contract time and there may be others , we need these to be Barnsley assets for the the future of the club.

Agree about getting the talented younger players tied down. Although I think Jalo and Yoganathan both have contracts until 2028 so I don?t think there will be loads of rush for this just yet. It wouldn?t surprise me if we were offering a contract to Bland now though as I think he only has a year left.

I agree with you Nerth, I think in the short time Hourihane has had him in the frame his game has come on leaps and bounds , I personally see him developing as a midfield player but he has already shown that he is adaptable with his performances at right back.
