Poor poor start to next season. I can't believe everyone isn't gutted like me. So now out midfield and strike force looks decidedly weak.

There are arguments for and against keeping him but anyone looking forward to exciting new talent replacing him hasn't been paying attention during recent transfer windows.

As for any disconnect with the owners, what is being expressed on here, that offends some people so much, is just a tiny fraction of what you will see on X

I'm gutted as well mapperly and don't consider myself "an old woman wetting my knickers" chill out French. We've lost a game changer and the most skilful player in the league. Combined with Crowley going plus Abbott and others underwhelming, the owners need a big summer.

Didzy is broke. Only reason he is still playing. Don't buy all the loves the club nonsense. He wants a wage we are not prepared to pay an aging 38 year old. And rightly so.

I'd be more worried if we were breaking the bank to keep him. Thanks for the last 2 years. But we move on.

I'd say it's a massive summer this season for them. The knives could be out very quickly if things start badly.

Disappointing news because Didzy was a joy to watch when he was on song last season, but your biggest wage probably shouldn’t be going on a near-38-year-old. I’ll be even more disappointed if he ends up at MK Dons, but such is football.

The owners would do well to get their statement about their future plans out ASAP, and also make sure they have some statement signings lined up. Otherwise, the discontent is only going to grow among the fan base.

Disappointed like everyone else that we won't see him in a Notts shirt again one player that was worth the entrance money to see.
Thanks for the great goals and skill last season best of luck for your future don't go to Mansfield.🤔 Interesting couple of weeks coming up.

Thought he wanted to end his career here, could have got more money staying at Derby. Is there something more to this than we know or is that just starting a conspiracy theory

This leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth.

We now have very little quality left in the squad - without huge investment, we are going absolutely nowhere next season.

Over to you, owners. Sort it out.
