If David McGoldrick doesn't want to stay, that's his decision. We would have offered him a contract for the amount and length we felt reasonable relative to his advancing years, and maybe he's got a better offer elsewhere. What it does mean of course is that a lot of unused resource has just appeared in the wage budget, so we could replace him with a younger striker of high calibre. In many ways, Didzy was an unusual signing compared with the usual profile of signing younger players to develop, but I think sentiment played a part and it worked for all parties at the time. It is what it is. We thank him and move on.
