Absolutely drenched, trying to take a bit of shelter near their main stand at one point, if I remember correctly.

It's funny the games you remember, but I've got really strong memories of this one because of it being one of a handful of away games I went to with my late Dad. Happy days.

You are not imagining the Conga. I was part of it.
Not too sure about Ronnie heading the ball out of the goalkeepers hands though. I thought that the goalie tried to bounce the ball in front of Ronnie and it didn?t bounce because of the mud so Ronnie duly obliged 🤣. It was a long time ago though and my brain is nearly 72 years old so I could be wrong.

Do you know what crookadile, I almost put the very same, I kind of thought I remembered it that way.
But when I read that link I thought I just be mistaken.
