Guys were saying they did not want the usual managerial merry go round of the same faces turning up, well we've certainly parted from that particular path.
One thing we know for certain is that the coach/manager position will as usual only be temporary as the inevitable outcome will be the sack, the same as there are no guarantees with any manager appointed that they will be successful even after achieving success elsewhere.

I'm excited to see what he brings, as it may be different and perhaps just surprise us all, nobody knows.

You are right. He has to be given time. I just hope that he will not allow John Nelms to interfere in team selection, because he will be judged on results. The reaction yesterday was way over the top. I would say he needs at least three months. We will all have an idea by then.

See the tragic thing about all this, there will be some ?fans? and I use that loosely that will want him to fail.

I will never understand why people who watch DFC through a dodgy stick and contribute absolutely nothing to the club, can get so excited about a managerial appointment.

He wasn?t my choice by a longshot, but I don?t think I?ve wanted a Dundee manager to succeed more than him.

Still unsure and even more so after the Nelms interview, why he was not given the Technical Manager (head of development) role and another person the Head Coach role?
